DO NOT leave anything behind

Stayed at the lodge on 03.03.13 and left the following day. I left a shirt behind which i called to report a few hours after leaving. I was told that there was no shirt in the room and that no one had been in the room. I knew for a fact that the cleaner had been in the room which was then admitted to after i pointed it our. But no further action was allowed to be taken, apparently. A friend stayed there 2 weeks prior and had a watch magically disappear after leaving it behind as well.

I understand that it's the guest's responsibility to make sure they take their possessions when leaving. But two guests having goods with the space of 2 weeks does not create a good impression. Especially when the complaint is met with little action from the staff
