Glen Afric Country Lodge
A wonderful stay at Glen Afric

I would like to thank the staff at Glen Afric for a wonderful 2 day stay in January 2013. The service, food and facilities were great. The room we stayed in was good (The Duck Room), both the television and air conditioning were working (though we didn't watch the TV at all). An earlier report from a guest that stayed a few days before we did, stated that niether the TV or Aircon worked in "all rooms", in the duck room, this wasn't the case. The room was of a decent size and the facilites good. My constructive criticism would be that this particular room, although good and very comfortable, could do with a small makeover. Being a hotelier by trade, I did notice certain places in the room had been "overlooked" by housekeeping, but apart from that it was acceptable. The lunch and evening meals we had were of a good standard and the usual "large" South African portions. There was never any issue with the breakfasts we had. The game drive we had was superb (Thank you Matt!) I would rate this lodge 9/10 for value, 9/10 for service and 7/10 for accomodation. In all, a fantastic stay and great experience. We would definately return and also recomend this venu. Overall 9/10! Thanks
