Joburg's Prawn Festival
"Prawn Fest"

We were so looking forward to this event. It was advertised as "thousands of FRESH prawns at LOW prices". 500g queens @ R45 and 500g king @ R55 - not advertised were that chips or rice was an additional R15 per portion. Unfortunately, our experience was that the 500g king prawns were barely the size of queen, they were hugely underweight i.e. portions were barely 250g, cold, over ripe and tasteless. The disappointment and disgust could be seen on many faces. I feel cheated.
