Shocking service

I went for sun-downers with a few friends to the Melrose Arch hotel pool deck. the services was so slow, it seemed that they were understaffed, and although it was not too busy, it took close to 45 minutes to receive our 4 cocktail. there were many other guests that had tables that were not cleared and another couple waited nearly an hour for 2 cocktails of which when the order did eventually arrive was wrong. we then ordered some snacks to nibble on they took over an hour to arrive, and it was just two bowels of french fries, the portion size was barely enough for a 5 year old. the order arrived cold and had to be sent back which included even more waiting. we often had to get up out of our seat to go find our waiter to place an order. we were never asked if we were fine. all in all i am very disappointed as i have come to that hotel on a few occasions and considering the exorbitant prices the service was below standard.
