RIP OFF & Bad Service

I started peeing blood late afternoon (never a good sign). After a quick google search the message was clear, 'Seek medical advice immediately' -causes could be many and in any case, its never a good thing. Morningside mediclinic was closest to me at the time, so we popped in there at around 8pm. When the 'doctor' came to see me, my first impression was 'is this even a doctor?? " he looked as if he had just come out of a nightclub dressed the way he was. No coat, no name badge, nothing professional about him that said ; I am a doctor. He felt around my waist for painful areas &noncholantly said: take some antibiotics, you proably have a UTI (urinary tract infection). And that was that. There were no questions about my other symptoms, no questions about my latest activites, medicine intake etc. The whole'consult' took about 3 minutes. The antibiotic they gave me they charged R150 for! (When I bought a prescription the next day it cost R35 for 10 tabs!) That pathetic episode then cost R1050!!! Google Search was more helpful & cheaper! I was very angry & very dissapointed & felt ripped off. Monringside Clinic is a RIP OFF! On google'ing the Dr's name it doesnt even show up?! A violation!!
