No help from affinity health

I joined the medical aid in november 2012 and was only incepted on the 1st of jan 2013 i went to the dr for the first time on monday and went back on Thursday he then sent me to a specialist who needs to do do surgery asap on monday because im in uch pain i cant walk i phoned affinity to get a pre authorisation they said they will phone me back then they phone me and say sorry sir we cant help you your 90 day waiting period is not done yet so what would have happend if i was in a accident i cant believe this medical aids now i cant work loss of income because i cant afford the R10000 deposit the hospital is asking for.
