Day1 Health
Misrepresentation

Health & Medicine

We joined Day1 last year. Day1 confirmed that they pay for Ritalin (chronic) but there is a 6 months waiting period which we agreed to, after 6 months I forwarded the claim for Ritalin only to be informed that Affinity Health took over and the e-mail received from Day 1 stated "I regret to inform you that we are no longer working with Affinity Health as they have not paid over day to day premiums for their members for the months on April and May. 1Doctor can therefore not carry the option any longer"
Affinity Health phoned us and confirmed that all benefits will remain the same, will even be more, I forwarded the claim to Affinity but they informed me that they do not pay for Ritalin. Also I took my son to a doctor, as per the listing received from Affinity, but at the chemist they informed me that the membership were cancelled, but an amount of R1 029-00 is deducted every month by debit order?
I have forwarded several e-mails to several individuals, but to no avail.
