My wife Elizabeth van Rooyen was in hospital last year end July beginning August for a hip review done by Dr. Cunningham. She quite alright for the first 48 hours after wich she had a severe stroke in the medical ward.
The people on duty said that she took an overdose. Of what? She could hardly move and i ask of you overdose on what??? If she had an overdose it could only have been from the medcine that was priscribed to her and that was administered by the staff. Furtermore i was not even contacted to let me know that there was a
problem that evening. They only informed me the next morning still saying that she took an overdose and not telling me the real reason why she was back in I.C.U.This i find very unprofessional and have a good mind to take it further. I get call from the acc dept that the medical aid has paid short. Even get threatened. The bill is now settled. What should i do?
