Welcome to the worst hospital in Cape Town

I was admitted to Constantiaberg on Thursday night last week.
Several things. Have happened. Staff do not come quickly when rung for, forbid an emergency. General incompetence of staff, my drip. Ran dry several times causing backflow of blood. Unecessary roughness with elderly. Surgical patients - antagonizing them to the point of tears. 3 of them were restrained while I was there Waiting hours for any form of assistance. Sub standard food that I wouldn't feed to my dogs. I only received an I D bracelet 3 days after arriving - after bringing it to managements attention. The radioligists mentioned that that was a regular occurence and they had received a number of 'wrong' patients for procedures. Yesterday I played nursemaid to two confused elderly hip replacement patients as the staff were never there to help. A surgeoun saw this and was horrified. He met with the GM that evening and he came to see me (albeit reluctantly) this morning was the last straw, my ward neighbour who had knee surgery fell. In the bathroom. I pushed the emergency button, no one came, I screamed help three times before someone sauntered in. I will never use this money making rip off company again
