I have been having issue with TopMed paying my Gynae bills as of last year. According to TopMed my Gynae submitted the claim incorrectly, then I personally went into Sanlam after my husband had been there to get given the process and code to use when submitting. I then went to TopMed Sanlam Bellville on the 8th of Dec 2013 and a lady called Josephine enquired and promised to get back to us, still hasn't. I then called TopMed on the 24th of Jan 2014 to find out why the claims haven't been paid, the guy I spoke to confirmed to me that the claims were submitted correctly and asked me to call back, the following Friday to check if payment has been done thru my maternity benefits. I then call again today and the RUDE Jeremy guys, told me my doc didn't submitted correctly and they didn't use an authorization number that I was given when I register for my mat benefits, which is a lie, I didn't get any authorization number, after which he told I don't have to know the number then said my dr knows it. I then ask him to put me thru to his manager and he cut me off, then I called again and still the same guy calls and lets me hold for 5 minutes then tell me all the managers are in a meeting.
