Virtually no claim history and then

I have virtually no claim history and contracted a very dangerous tropical virus roughly 2 months ago, which required 2 sets of blood tests. I then found that both came out of my medical savings which means that Discovery covered nothing and yet I almost never claim. I called Discovery to discuss this matter only to be told that i have to be in hospital for that to be covered which sounds wrong to me.

Subsequent to that i have had 2 calls from Discovery trying to sell me more and on both occasions i told them my dissatisfaction and asked that they get someone to call me to possibly change my policy yet I am still waiting for such a call. I feel very aggrieved that i spend so much only to find after the event I'm not covered and for blood tests which sounds like a very normal type of activity.
