Agoda charging double for accommodation

I booked accommodation at the Birchwood Hotel during December 2013. Agoda debited the full amount due for the accommodation and their commission from my credit card. When I booked into the Hotel I had to present my credit card as confirmation according to the Hotel, which I did. When I received my credit card statement I noticed that Agoda & the Hotel debited for the accommodation. I have sent numerous emails to Agoda to arrange a refund. I get numerous emails from Agoda with special deals & reviewing my stay but no one has to date contacted me regarding my refund.
