Dirty Rooms, poor food

Booked a 2 night stay in self-catering over new year. Room was dirty with mould on the ceiling, lounge furniture was filthy, linen was threadbare, kitchen was poorly equipped. Ate in the restaurant - hamburger patty was like shoe leather, lasagne was bland and tasteless, and the starter arrived with the main course. The main entrance to the hotel is like the back door to a back-packers. The driveway is worse than the back roads of the Wild Coast! I am concerned that such an historic establishment is being run down because the owners do not seem to care. I would suggest the owners watch a few episodes of Hotel Impossible on the Travel Channel.
