Dirty hotel room

Good Day. Me and my family planned your December holiday on which we have decided to have a sleep over on the 26th of December 2013 at the Pyramids Hotel in Harrysmith Kwa-zulu Natal. On that day we had extreme rain and arrived at the Hotel round 2PM, on which we have discovered with our book in that the room was dirty. there were hair on the bedding and it just smelled awful. We went back to the reception area and lodged a complaint, the so called manager on duty went to the room returned back and told his wife to tell me that there were no hair on the bed, bud however that the pillows are wet due to the rain. Me my husband and 4 kids all saw the room and beg to differ. No offering of a new room or a refund I actually felt humiliated. We have then decided to relocate elsewhere due to the attitude as well as poor service. I have also requested the manager to provide feedback on the status also on the owners number to discuss the matter. till date I have not received any feedback no refund and my payment of R1670 is now paid for nothing. We have arrived in Uvongo 10PM that evening and was able to obtain a bed and some food. Please assist me in this matter.
