Bad attitude and appalling service

On the 6th of January 2014 my partner and I went to the New start centre to undertake a VCT, given the current HIV infection rate and the fact that we take our status seriously. As shown on the website a standard VCT takes about 40 mins. To our amusement when we arrived at the centre at 15:00 and we were told we couldn't be assisted. Never mind the fact that there is a huge sign at the entrance stating that the operating hours of the centre are up to 16:00. As we arrived we were asked why we were there by a reception area which had more than 3 individuals at the time, we then stated that we were there for a VCT and would like to do it together as a couple. A few ladies laughed at us to our faces as they walked away from reception no one else responded to our inquiry as they all started talking amongst themself and telling one another that they are all knocking off and going home, this went on for about five minutes whereby my partner then asked again if there was a possibility that we could get assistance, then only were we told, very rudely so, that no one could help us and we should come back the next day. Quiet appalling though given the delicacy and seriousness of our matter!
