Paying out of Savings Benefit

Good day

I terminated my membership effective 31/12/2013
How shocked I was to find out this morning that it takes 4months to reimburse me my savings??!!
Why so long and I have to send a stamped bank statement, copy of my ID-information that you should have already!!
By rights this is my money, and yet it is going to take 4months before I receive it!!
I do not understand how that works!! And the interest that is incurred in the 4months, is that included in my re-imbursement??
Really poor service and I do not even belong to the scheme anymore!
