Polmed
Incompetent Billing Department

Health & Medicine

My husband past away on the 18th of August 2013. During the first week of September 2013 I completed a Continuation of Benefit form with my own banking details completed.

This was however to late to stop the debit order going of my late husband's frozen account and was subsequently returned unpaid.

I was informed about this returned debit order and made a manual payment of R800-00 into Polmed's bank account.

Every single month after this happened Polmed informs me that my debit order came back unpaid although there is more than enough money in my bank account.

This morning my son-in-law contacted them who himself is working with Medical Aids and Kensy informed him that the last debit order they tried to take was in September 2013.

The reason why this debit order is not going of my bank account is because the original Debit Order Block after it was returned from my late husband's account was never lifted.

I'm staying in an Old Age Home and cannot go to my bank every time to make a manual payment. Could somebody please do their job properly and sort out this problem once and for all???

I can also go the route to report this to the Council for Medical Aids!!!
