On 04 December I wrote a complaint on HelloPeter with regards to Bonitas' lack of response to my application. I was emailed soon after my complaint with an email to say that I will be a member as of 01 Jan 2014; on my application I requested to be a member as of 01 Dec 2013, due to the lack of service, my app was not processed sooner. The response to my complaint also stated that a 'service expert' will contact me; yet I have had no phone call from a 'service expert' since 04 Dec. In the email it stated the following: "With ref to your application form: Please be aware we are still processing it; however; should member wish to continue with join date 01/12/2013; proof of payment is required to further finalize registration." I paid Bonitas a pro-rata amount of R1406 (amt provided by call center agent) on 05 Dec and emailed the POP as per their request. Since 05 Dec Bonitas has yet again failed to contact me with regards to any of my communication to them. I am now paying A LOT of money for something that I cannot use seeing that I have no written proof that I am covered by Bonitas.
On 05 Dec I also sent an email with regards to my waiting period - also still no response.
