No call back on damaged glasses

I went in to the canal walk store in the 1st week of December. I handed in my damaged Polaroid sunglasses and asked if it could be repaired. The saleslady took it in and said that she would find out and call me in about 2 days. I did not receive a call. I then went in to the store again a few days later and asked abt my glasses. The new person did not know anything and could not find my glasses. I then left a message with my number and I still have not received a call. I cannot go to the store all the time and follow up. My file is on record and so is my cell number. Why is it so difficult to follow up on a simple query? I will definitely not be returning to spec savers. I would rather support the local Optometrists who are not associated with any chain store brands because overall the service of this store is just pathetic. This is not the 1st time I am having a problem. I have to always call and follow up when the salesperson "promises" to call me.
