In September I missed my discovery debit and I was informed within 24Hours that my cover has been suspended. I proceeded to call Discovery Health and instructed them to double debit me in the following month - Oct, which they did. On the 29th of October, 4 days after the double debit I was surprised to see that my service was still suspended. I called Discovery and was told that it will be rectified. Yesterday, I visited a pharmacy just to be informed that my service was still suspended, over 6 weeks since I made the effort to inform them!! I my family had a motor vehicle accident during this period I would have died in a provincial institution because of Discover's lack lustre attitude to administrative processes! I then complained that I have been paying for cover which I did not receive, I ended up speaking to George Muntean. During the polite conversation he advised me that they won't refund me. I then requested the details of a higher authority, like a ombudsman, and he said he will email me the Councils details in 24 hours. Still waiting. Discovery is suppose to be the best???
