My wife and I had accommodation booked with The Gumtree Manor on Sat 30 November 2013. We booked in the afternoon, and received efficient service. We were also told that we were the only guests booked for the particular night, and we were looking forward to that as it would mean peace and quite, exactly what we were looking for!!

However when we returned from our function at about 00:15, we heard a big noise like a party that was in progress. Upon approaching our room we realised the party was happening right next door to our room. A manager spoke to my wife and indicated that they would switch the music off soon and apologised. We understood and gave them some time and showered, got into bed and waited for about half an hour, at which time the music didn't get turned off, it just kept getting louder!!

Long story short, the music didn't get switched off, the manager wasn't available and we never had any sleep!! Upon complaining no-one seems to take responsibility and passes the buck or refers us to someone else. No resolution, as I want a refund because they didn't supply me with the service I had paid for!!!
