INTERCARE GONUBIE MISQUOTES AND DOES HALF JOBS

I live in Johannesburg but had to have an emergency filling done while I was on holiday in East London at the Intercare Dentist in Gonubie. I was quoted an estimate of R500. While they were doing the filling, Dr. Botes told me another filling will be needed. Please note she did not say there will extra charges incured nor did she give an option in the matter. When I went to pay, I received the bill only to find that the charge was R1700. I made payment arrangements to pay the absurd ammount. Since the days following the procedure I have been having pain everytime i eat something. Dr. Botes has left such a gap between the two teeth that were filled, that food gets trapped inside the gum causing pain and discomfort. I now have to find money somewhere to go and see yet another dentist in order to repair what she has done. When i phoned them to dispute the bill further and to tell them about the botched job, i was met with no sympathy and they did not want to make ANY arrangements to sort out the issue. I have no option but to see lawyers now. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM INTERCARE GONUBIE!!!
