Boardwalk hotel staff took down the wrong number when my sister made a booking for the Boardwalk high tea for her 25th birthday.
Due to their mistake, they overbooked the venue and were unable to inform her of the issue. On arrival, we were moved into a different venue, but eventually found out that we were being served 'leftovers' from the other guests' high tea. After waiting 45 minutes, when the eats finally arrived, we noticed that they were different to the ones that we'd had before, and the variety of eats was extremely small. When we investigated the eats in the main high tea area, we found that we had been served different eats to the other guests. When we complained, they sent out more eats which were clearly LEFTOVERS FROM THE OTHER GUESTS! The F&B manager's only response was to give us 50% off of the bill. Unfortunately the damage had already been done.
