We booked this weekend at My Cascades at Club Mykonos through an agent, Natalie Barends, from Friday 08/11/13 to Monday 11/12/13 to attend the wedding of my nephew which my husband was officiating in Saldanha. On arrival at Club Mykonos on Friday we were informed that our booking was only until Sunday, 10/11/13. I showed the gentleman at reception the dates of our booking email and called our agent through whom we made the booking. She assured that our reservation will be "fixed". Unfortunately just before we left the unit to go to the wedding on Saturday, Liana Brand called my husband and instructed that we leave the unit at ten sharp on Sunday morning. She opted to move us into another unit that we turned down as it meant packing, moving and unpacking again and we did not appreciate being inconvenienced for a mistake that was not ours. On refusal to move my husband was abruptly told by Liana Brand "as jy nie vacate nie sal ons jou persoonlik kom uitsit". After speaking to Natalie we agreed to vacate the unit at 12 am this morning with the understanding to be refunded for the night. Is this how Liana treats customers when there has been a double booking???
