Service not up to standard

I am on Discovery Keycare Plus, I am totally happy with the fact that I can get my wheelchair on this scheme.
Now they have been good to me.
But I would like to say I am disappointed in the fact that they said I can go see a specialist. Now that the specialist says I must get this problem sorted for fear that the problem will spread if not taken care of.
Discovery simply says its not covered under the keycare plus scheme. My problem is WHY let me pay R400 to see a specialist that they beforehand know, that they won't cover any procedure that he wants to do.
I am disabled and on a fixed income, I cannot get this operation and pay for it out of my pocket, that is why I have a medical aid. This isn't a cosmetic problem, It's a serious problem, my hair is falling out, filled with nasty bumps and lumps.
