Settlement amount owing

I recently was retrenched from my job i was therefore was forced to terminate my membership with Discovery Health.

I subsequently received a settlement letter from Discovery stating i owe them -R3700. I have paid all my monthly contributions and am therefore not sure why i would now be liable for so much money at this stage.

My contributions for my employment period was R58000 and my medical expenses for the same period was R26000.

I think Discovery is not a great medical aid scheme but a great money making scheme. Good luck to existing Discovery members lets hope you dont have the same problems. I think the number of Hello Peter complaints speak for themselves.
