Refund taking more than two weeks

I went to the dentist for some major work, after I got Bankmeds approval for some payments that would be refunded to me. I submitted the claim same day, and I still have no refund this was 26/09/2013. When I phoned the first time I was told I would receive it on Friday, when I phoned today, I was told it could take 30 days, I thought it should be 5 days, that is a poor turn around, I spent a lot of money and now I have to wait 30days for refund! I think that is Poor service for sure.
