I am highly disturbed by Discovery's unethical behaviour towards a legal agreement that we had. I called them this afternoon to find out about the sms and telephone call they made to my spouse about payments of the cancelled cover.
I called the settlement account spoke to a guy by name of Dumisani who advised me that my name had been uplifted and now I was listed on ITC.
I cancelled my medical aid Dec last year and was sent an letter that im owing them. I called them in May to say i will make payments and the lady i spoke too said she would send me banking details. I only got my letter from the post end of July and i made a payment of R300 then. Again in August i made another payment of R1000 and today i was told my name is now listed even though i made payment. Dumisani said i was sent letters via the post but strange enough they have my contact numbers and email adddress to have sent me something that they would list me and i never got anything from them.
How do you blacklist someone without their knowledge and at the end of the day i made payments. i want them to remove my name off that ITC before i loose my mind and contact my lawyers cause i know my rights as a consumer.
