PAYING FOR A BILL THAT ISNT MINE!!!

A week or so before Christmas [2012] I received a call from a lady at Discovery with the news that I owed them R1837.74. This, I was told is, the outstanding amount from my husbands stay in hospital NINE AND A HALF YEARS ago. When I asked why the delay in phoning me I was told there had been a break down in some system. I must just add that my husband passed away 31 July 2003. I have received mail from Discovery which included an account for the R1837.74 with absolutely no details [but I can phone for them! ] and a form to fill in giving my bank details. Needless to say they have not been given. BUT, I submitted a claim for a doctors visit and medication I paid for in March 2013 [R296.55 and R174.10]. I was reimbursed R138.07.On the 5th July I had to pay R3332.13 to my dentist and then claim I duly did so and when there was no reimbursement I was told I was in self payment gap AND money owing was deducted. I now, according to Discovery, owe them R401.73. Where did they get the balance of R1436.01?? I might add I had another call from the same lady prior to trying to claim the R3332.13 and was told this would now have to go to Management.
