Incompetent staff

I am extremely angry with the way I was "handled" at the Rosebank Hospital. I came in with cramps and bleeding in my 7th week of pregnancy. I was sent to the radiology department, where I was refunded the amount I was asked to pay upfront due to the fact that the hospital did not have the correct equipment to determine my diagnosis. This was a planned pregnancy and as such I took any complications very seriously. The doctor in the ER did a half-motivated exam and sent me home with the phrase "you're looking good, I don't anticipate a miscarriage". Within the next 5 hours I was rushed to another hospital and lost the pregnancy. No gynae was called in to examine me at Rosebank. I was given schedule 7 pain medication even though I had specified I was pregnant!! This treatment in the emergency room is unacceptable. I don't know why I paid someone who sent me away, told me to come back in 72 hours and gave me drugs that could have harmed my child. I ended up seeking competent medical assistance with staff members who had asked how the Rosebank doctor failed to recognize the severity of the situation!
