Lost medical records

Me and my families medical records were lost/ miss placed/ thrown away/ by specsavers pretoria north. i suffer from very poor vision. making it impossible to see 30 cm with out my glasses. when i went in for repairs to my glasses they stated that my records were missing and therefore no repairs could be made. so a simple 5 min repair costing less than R200 now turns into a 2 week wait that cost over R2000 if i replace the glasses- which i will have to do. I'm unable to drive to work in this condition and have a big headache. trying to temporary fix the frame myself was also unsuccessful. they did not even want to give me the address of a technician so that he could inspect the glasses. So getting a new eye wear provider. ( so much for the law that states record should be kept for 5 years, they did not even keep mine 3 years.)
