We went to Vitalaire on the 19th of July 2013, at the Witbank Branch to purchase the following 1 x Cpap Tubing and 1 x Headgear 405. Shila was busy helping a Customer with a Medical Aid claim on a Cpap Machine and helped us in between, we took our Cpap machine with us to make sure the correct items will be supplied because my husband was admitted that same afternoon in hospital. Shila did removed and open the tuff, we paid R1148.00 and left to the hospital. My husband did not used his machine because the Medical Aid supplied him with a new Resmed 8 Escape machine because it has a build in huminifier in.
I've phoned Head Office 011-9975700 and spoke to the Cpap Manager Karen to find out if I can take it back because it was not used at all and she said No Sorry we can't we treat it the same as Medication?? Then I phoned Shila who help us she could still remember us clearly and also remembered that she opened the stuff to show us. And said the same no returns on any Cpap stuff.
On the Delivery Note D 186352 and Receipt 20920 there in no fine print or any thing written "NO GUARANTEE OR NO RETURNS" The stuff was not used!!!
Please assist us with this matter ASAP!!!
