I went to Danie van Zyl Centre to donate blood as one of the consultants called me to ask whether I will be donating the following day. I got there I had to stand in a line to fill in my form as there was only one table for us to fill in the forms, and on that same table was the SANBS employee with his laptop as well, When I finally got to fill in my form I had to wait 45 minutes in a line to take my blood pressure., I could not sit on a chair as there was none, except the 5 chairs that was being used via the donators that filling out their form. The woman that took my blood pressure definitely had all the time in the world she almost took 10 min just to take my blood pressure, whether this was out of spitefulness or just ignorant I don't know. I asked the SANBS employee (I cant even name the employee as none of them had name tags) why there is only 4 chairs/beds in the room he replied "I don't know I will ask" he turned around and walked away. If there was more chairs/beds it would have been much faster. There was paddles of water on the floor witch is a HUGE health and safety risk not only to the Employees but the Donors too. I am so disgusted with the Service I got.
