No patients rights for you!!!

My nephew has a and plate in his leg which needs to be removed as the bone has healed and is now very painfull to walk on. We arrived at Joburg Gen the 6th of June to have this seen to as one of the screws were protruding out of his leg, there were no DR's who could see him and they made an app to come back on the 9th of July, so he had to go another month walking in pain. On the 9th finally a Dr had looked at his X-Rays and made another app for the 6th August to have the plate and removed. On the 6th of August we arrived on the 7th floor, orange block ward 375 as the Dr instructed us previously. He was told that there is no bed available??? After several hours of waiting another Dr came and started filling out his admission forms and sent him down to get new X-Rays and bloodwork done and told him they would do the op the next day (7th Aug) On the morning of the 7th he was discharged without having the op and was told that emergency patients could rather use his bed as they could only operate in two weeks time. He was told to come back on 5th November. So i suppose his leg should first be falling off or he should be near death before his right to healthcare is excercise
