Poor communication in debiting accounts

I am very disappointed in the lack of communication with your call centre agents. I joined Discovery last month and was first told that my debit order of R3200 would be processed on the 2 August. My debit order was debited today but for 2 months meaning that I had to pay R6500 for July and August. The call centre agent never made this clear to me and I am very disappointed by Discovery's poor service. When I called the call centre now, the call centre agent unfortunately said that there is nothing they can do and that I owe Discovery the money.
I have been with Another medical aid for a few years and changed to discovery because I changed jobs. Not once did the other medical aid double debit my account.
I am really disappointed in Discovery and being a new member to start off on such a bad note.
