I am more than dissapointed. I was recently admitted in ICU in Pretoria East Hospital. My neurosurgeon SPECIFIED that I was admitted in ICU. The billing however shows that I was in High care?? When I queried this I was treated like a total by Renske and Annemarie at the accounts department. How can one be admitted in Intensive Care Unit but on paper you are only High care?? The service of this hospital is not the best in the wards itself and to be treated this poorly by the accounts department is appalling. Did they make a mistake in the billing and are now trying to cover up? I am duly upset and want answers.
