Default Judgement without Cause or Care

My mother was admitted to Netcare Parklands in May of 2012 to undergo emergency surgery, she was admitted and operated on. We were not on medical aid and I stood guarantor for the cost of the treatment. Since then I have done my best to pay as and when and discussed it with the accounts department, and awaited further feedback to no avail. Now unbeknownst to me the have taken default judgement against me, after I advised I could not pay them and would pay a portion monthly. The Anesthetist and Surgeon, are both understanding in that we cannot afford to pay and are paying piece meal. But the large hospital group who only cares about the bottom line and treating people like and end result of a production process have treated myself and my mother who is still recovering like criminals, instead of communicating with us they seek to destroy the lives of honest people to there own ends. I am going to take this matter further and have sought help from the Credit Ombud. Netcare should be ashamed of themselves and their staff are disgusting in passing the buck and ruining peoples lives. Yours with Honour and utter disgust Pryce Robinson.
