Specialist Referal

I was referred to a Psychiatrist by my GP and was told to send in the relevant paper work to the Medical Aid which I did. I followed up with the Medical Aid after I had heard nothing back from them and they advised that due to the fact that I was in the 1st year of membership they need to do an investigation. They started this investigation 24th June. Nearly every week since I found out about this investigation I had been following up on the progress of this. Today is the 11th of July and I am to see the Psychiatrist on the 22nd of July and I am yet to hear anything from the Medical Aid. Once again I decided to take matters into my own hands and call them and find out how far they are. I spoke with Anzel and she advised me that they have sent numerous questionnaires to my GP to complete. I said to her that I saw my GP on Monday and he said nothing to me about not having completed the questionnaire. (I saw the email attached to my file) I said to Anzel if they cant get hold of the GP to complete the forms why dont they contact the member and get the member to contact the GP. She said to me that Felicity had tried to contact me numerous times. Funny that I never received on call.
