Health & Medicine

Visited Specsavers on 25/06/2013 4 an eye test & contact lens which I clearly told the guy handling my appointment. After getting my eye test done, I queried about my contacts -was told it will get sorted wen I come back 4my lens. On 29/06/2013 I went 4 my lens & again asked about my contacts, the lady said they have no knowledge of it! Annoyed I explained that I was told it would be sorted when I picked up my lens. They checked in-store for contacts & told me 2 come back on 30/06/2013 to LEARN how 2 put the contacts on - At no point did they mention ANY FEE 4 this "learning" -which they now called a "TEST". On 30/06/2013 I went 2 learn how 2 use my contacts, still there was no mention of the fee 4 this. The contacts weren't correct & the optom proceeded 2 find the right strength contacts 4 me. All was well, I was told that after using the trial pair 4 the week, on 06/07/2013 I would need 2 pick up the 6month supply & they wud see if my eyes adapted as well. Today Specsavers called 2 say medical aid isn't payin 4 the testing 4 the contacts. 1. They didnt disclose fees 2 me, 2. They didnt mention submittin 2 my medical aid NOW I MUST PAY THIS TEST FEE I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF
