Careless receptionists

I booked to deliver my baby in their hospital and I was told I needed to pay pre admission fee and I will not be allowed to come in unless that amount has been paid. I did not on the day I made my booking but did so the day of my sugery..Now they say I owe the hospital that amount because they cant find my receipt in my file and they want me to pay AGAIN and are threatening to list me on ITC..My question is HOW DID THEY ADMITT ME IF I HAD NOT PAIDbeacause my coming in there was not an emergency. I am very well sure That I paid but I dont have a receipt now after three months to prove it..
