Talk About heartless vetenairian

My cat got really sick saturday night, and it being end of january like most of you should no, no one really has R1400 just lying around. So i phoned Kempton Park Animal Hospital in Aston Manor. The guy agreed to help us but, with lots of beggin from our side. So i asked him eventually so you are telling me you are letting my cat die because i dont have the money. Then he agreed.
Got there this Doctor didnt greet us at all, he was so moody and hardly spoke to us. And he made it very clear that he will not release the cat untill the full amount is paid the next day, wich is now sunday. Then Monday morning his reception phones me and says the cat is ready for collection. i ask her can i please pay her R800 and the balance of R600 on Friday wich is now 4 days. She became very rude and said that they will not release the animal till full amount is paid, i had to borrow money and sell some of my personal belongings to pay the bill. i just think they are heartless people. so next time if i rather dont go to a vet then i will be heartless, so what is really the right thing to do?
