My husband phoned Riverside Guest Accommodation yesterday afternoon to make a booking for two people sharing (without breakfast) for two nights (25th and 26th of June) and received a telephonic quotation from Michelle. She asked him to please send her the details per email, which I did even before he putt the phone down.
When we received the invoice, it was R110 more than quoted. I sent an email back to confirm that we did not want any breakfast, and got a new invoice for R60 more than quoted. When my husband phoned the number as given on the invoice to enquiry on the quote, Michelle told him that the room she quoted for was not available. When he asked how she can quote for a room that was not available, she told him that if he did not want to pay for it, we can find another place to stay.
How do people with such an attitude stay in business?
