Double Payment on moving Debit Orde

Im having problems with my money coming into SA and only get paid after the 7th of every month. With this problem, my Medical aid DBT order goes off every 1 st of the month and I want to move it to the 7th or 10th. This move implicates that i have to pay double premium (total of R9000) for only 6 or 9 days!!! I have phoned now 2 times to try and move this or try to arrange that they bill me prorata for the difference between the 1st day and the 7th or 10th... but with no luck. this really frustrates me, cause every time I have to do manual deposits, mailing and phoning to get my aid un-suspended. Am i missing something here??

My son was born on the 18th of June and it was just a phone call away and he was put on my medical aid, NO PROBLEM (THANK YOU!!) and no monies were charged, which I totally appreciate, but why such a hassle to move the payment date?? I even offered NOT TO (not that one claim everyday) claim or use the aid in the 6 or 9 days between the payments, but still no luck!
