A friend of mine booked a holiday getaway as my birthday present, the bookings where done and confirmed on the 26th April 2013 for the 15th - 17th June. When we got there, the staff was not friendly maybe they were tired. I asked if they had heaters in the rooms, the answer was NO, I was surprised because its winter & I have been to diff lodges and they had heaters in the rooms, anyway it was not stated in their advert. When we got to our room, the room was not clean, the so called kitchen had no sink, the kettle was licking, we where provided with an old used to be silver two plate stove that was also dirty. the base was supported with bricks, the sheet used to cover the base was dirty, the towels had no fabric softner, the hand soap we where provided with was at the bottom of the bottle the ff day the other lady came asking if we wanted our room cleaned, I said no bcos I did not see a need, it was already dirty when we got there I had to ask for a dish washer, I couldn't even use the blankets they provided us with, The place is very beautiful, the lawn and the view, but I don't see myself recommending it to anyone cause I was fooled by the advert, I am very disappointed
