Nasty SMS from Lancet

Hi

I received a nasty sms from Lancet laboratories telling me that I owed them R130.10.

I was not aware that I had to pay them directly or that my medical aid would not pay them. It is a small amount so that is easily rectified. I have already called them and asked for an invoice so that I can ask the medical aid why they did not pay.

However, their sms read :
contact us on 087 351 3080 to prevent being handed over to ITC BA.

firstly, I did not even know that the medical aid did not pay them and I am getting threatened with the ITC on the very first contact with me?

That's utterly disgusting. I will never use Lancet again even if my GP or gynae has a pre established relationship with them because they treat their customers like.

I find their sms in poor taste, threatening and I will not just go with the sheet my doctors provide me with in future - I shall make alternate arrangements.

I find you utterly disgusting lancet laboratories. I wonder how many people you threaten a day?
