HEARTLESS CREDIT CONTROL MESS

My father was admitted at Carstenhof clinic on the 23.04.13, due to that he didnt have medical aid my family had to pay cash. My mother made various cash payments. My father was discharged on the 1 May and a credit was due to my mother as the medical expenses were less than what was paid, therefore my mother had to be refunded. My father passed away on the 2 May after being discharged just the day before. Till this day my mother has not seen a refund, instead she has been bombarded with calls from carstenhoof wanting death certificates which have no bearing on the refund owed to her, proof of payments, her to come to the hospital back and forth. Castenhoof made a mess of capturing all the payments which is their job and not our problem, my famil cant even get a chance to grieve as we still have to deal with their mess in the credit control department. Castenhoof has since forgotten that we have lost a loved on who was dear to us just a day after they discharged him and at the moment the hospital itself is painful reminder of how much money was poured into this hospital in the hope that my father would get the best care but to our dismay he died and no remorse. Only Mpho has tried.
