No response! No payment of claim as of yet

I tried to claim back a dentist appointment which I paid for myself. I sent the first email to Gems on 23/04/2013, to find out what steps I should take. I received the automated reply stating that someone will get back to me in 48 hours.
I sent a second email with the doctors invoice and proof of my payment on 26/04/2013. Again I received the automated email that someone will get back to me in 48 hours.
Then when I heard nothing from them on 10/05/2013, I phoned them and asked what I should do, because no-one is getting back to me. I was told to fax it and a number was provided. So minutes later I faxed the claim and just to make sure I emailed it again.
Only thing I heard back from GEMS is the automated reply that someone will get back to me in 48 hours. Oh, and of course an sms stating that my premium will go up seeing that we got an increase from Government!
