Misrepresentation of costs

I made enquiry to the above sleep centre and received costing for a consultation with the specialist as well as the costs for the potential tests to be done should it be required.

After the R 950.00 consultation I was furnished with a new set of costs which had increased by approx R 1 500.00.

Upon query thereof, it was simply stated that this is due to there being multiple practices involved and that this is the end of it.
And on top of that, all fees are to be paid in advance.

So costs went from R 5 902.80 to R 7 353.30, which excludes the initial consultation as well as any further consultations of treatment / medication / equipment required going forward.

Clearly there is no guarantee offered on the expected outcome if the treatment.

I could potentially have accepted this increase in costs, was it not for the really poor attitude of the person dealing therewith.
