As stated previously I have been involved in a MVA on 13 Feb 2013 sustaining facial and denture injuries. As a result I wilt need a lot of after care to replace bone and dentures.
Same as with my previous complaint I have submitted an application for treatment to be paid over and above that provided by the prescribe minimum benefits, with an automated e-mail response stated that Discovery will get back to me within 3 workings days, this app was submitted on 2 May 2013 and I haven't received any feedback as yet - this app was for a CT Scan as the Dr need to determine the exact damages inside the mouth as it is now 3 months after the accident. Only after the CT scan will he be able to determine the exact cost est of the future treatment needed, which I will also have to submit another app.
As I'am an auditor and travelling quiet a bit, I need to plan my audits around my treatment, and therefore I cant afford to go through this tedious process every time when I submit an app.
This time round I thought I get the Dr to complete the form even before my appointment on the 16th of May and yet again I battle to get a auth from Discovery.
This is totally unacceptable.
