Shocking service on different levels

Mom went to have a simple procedure done. she had to starve before the surgery the night before. on the day of the incident she checked in and was prepared for surgery. but after the procedure she felt hypogylcaemic because she is a diabetic. she was not offered a meal or even a snack. she asked the nurses to prepare her something to eat. they all disappeared on her. eventually one of the staff went past her and mom asked for something to eat. recognising that she was a diabetic, she prepared a quick snack for her. later i arrived to pick mom up, it a very long time for her to be discharged even though her surgeon discharged her. i went to the nurses station on 3 different occasions to ask for someone to discharge mom. each time i was told someone is coming. eventually we got discharged. add fuel to fire considering mom's really hungry and is puting pressure on me to take her home so she can finally have a meal, the receptionist was totally disconnected to his job. there was not even a "hello pig" i mean no greeting. after he discharged mommy hepushed the papers to me and said and i quote "Done" i was totally shocked. that attitude from the face of the organisation the receptionist
